Computer training at the orphanages
In today’s world, access to computers and the internet are such vital and needed requirements for education. Nevertheless for orphanages it is rarely possible to provide access as they struggle to cover even the most basic needs. So when we asked how we may help, amongst the first things the orphanages requested – along with education – was the question if we could provide just two computers and computer training to the 30-50 kids in each home.
Our team in Bangalore was more than happy to provide and set up computers along with computer tables and chairs. The kids were keenly interested to watch our technicians and have a first glance into this new world.
After a long summer break in Bangalore we finally commenced our first computer training earlier this month. It was a fun and exciting time for the children and us. Watching their curious, beaming faces and witnessing the enthusiasm and attention with which they followed the class was very encouraging. We will be having a series of training sessions so that the children get equipped with a basic understanding and skillset. Who knows, we may be laying the groundwork for the future IT entrepreneurs.
