Quality education
Our vision is to change the lives of our students and enable them to achieve their goals. We cooperate with private schools to admit/re-admit our students. The schools’ representatives help us to tailor a plan for each student to adjust it individually to the academic schedule. However, there are challenges with regard to adjustment of children to a formal system of education, their ability to comprehend and grasp concepts which is compensated for at the Kids’ Home.
The children are assessed thoroughly with regard to their understanding of Foundational Literacy and Numerical concepts to customize plans for every individual child. Currently, the child to Educator ratio at the Kids’ Home is 1: 7 to enable individualized attention for the child. We are also employing the use of technology to further improve the academic engagements of our children.

Computer lab
We have been procuring and assembling systems from some of our past projects at the Kids’ Home through our good friends at Hemmersbach. The result of which are two computer labs on our facility that are accessible to children over the weekends.
What’s more, we have also prepared a ‘lesson plan’ for beginners, intermediate and advanced users. The idea is to take our children over each of these courses over a specified duration. The beauty of the books is that they break the norm of the conventional text-book and encourages the Educator to handle the sessions from an ice-breaker at the start, the lesson plan for the day and even conclude the classes with games. Yes, we want our children to be familiar with these devices; and yes, we are enabling internet for our children while we are at this.
We are keen on securing our children’s future and upskilling them to not only further pursue their dreams but also to secure their rights as a citizen of the country by gaining digital access to social securities.

Leisure
We believe that school trips, educational projects, and celebrations are vital for these children’s development.
We started several initiatives such as guitar classes, pottery classes, art classes, school trips to natural sites, and lessons about ecology that are age appropriate.
Some of our children have developed an interest in various activities and we see that every child is discovering individual talents and passion for specific subjects.
