Tutoring centre
We set up a learning center crafted out of a shipping container at Ramamurthy Nagar Slum in Bangalore. Our school with educators, education aids, a kitchen, and a playground caters to underprivileged children that live in the slum nearby the center. At least 30 children have been attending classes regularly since the first week of opening the center in October 2019. Many of the children studying at this center are first-generation learners.

Resource centre for the community
The school also doubles up as a resource center from where we have been able to involve community members to distribute items in the adjacent slum. During the pandemic time and the lockdown, our hands were full in helping the community. In 2021 we distributed clothes appropriate for the onset of winter. In 2022 we distributed masks in the community and visited every hut in the slum. The breadwinners in the slums were unable to secure work, so our kitchen was preparing 50 hot meals every day during the third phase of the outbreak of the Coronavirus in India.
